Portable Onsite Photography (POP) is a service business specializing in professional on-location studio photography of artwork, art collections, and antiques trade stock.
At POP our mission is simple: to keep the working artists where they need to be—in the studio creating art. In bringing the photography setup to the artist, we eliminate the need to pack and transport fragile work, thereby reducing productivity downtime, while also making it easier to photograph outsized and installation pieces. We understand that art is a livelihood, not a hobby, and we want to help artists build their portfolios, and therefore their standing in the art world at large, by documenting the work before it is sold.
