Plam is the creative platform of Luis Alonso, a Barcelona-based freelance Graphic & Type Designer. Luis studied Graphic Design at ESDI (Ramon Llull University) and earned his Master's in Advanced Typography at Escola Eina (Autonomous University of Barcelona).

Since 2006 he has worked from Plam on various projects commissioned by diverse studios and publishing houses, related to, above all, Corporate Identity and Editorial Design. Since 2009, Type Design has become more prominent in his work, and he currently loves to combine these disciplines in the development of projects of diverse creative natures.

Another passion of his is Type Design and lettering. Currently, he's working as a Typeface Designer, along with his colleagues Ricardo Santos (Portugal) and Charlie Zinno (Argentina), with whom he founded in 2011 the international collective Tiponautas, where they develop various projects related to Type Design.
