Currently on the hunt for a new Web / Graphic design role along the central belt of Scotland.

I am a professional Web/ Graphic designer with in depth commercial experience. I am results focused, self motivated, and a very driven individual. I put a strong emphasis on my career development. I thrive under pressure and have a proven capability to meet short deadlines with limited resource.

I am a traditionally trained designer who can offer design skills as well as illustration / painting skills. I have worked both as a Graphic designer and a web designer within my current role. I feel that having an understanding of both fields would give your company an edge. I have hand coding skills in CSS, XHTML, XML, JavaScript and ActionScript. I have a good knowledge of all industry trends and applications.

As part of the Trinity Mirror Group, working within S&UN Ltd meant that my remit was wide and varied.

Primary functions include structural maintenance and new product development of 17 regional newspaper websites, 6 regional recruitment sites, and 3 national sites including the Scottish Daily Record and Scotcareers portal. Secondary functions within this role also include web creation for a number of small to mid-size companies across a number of market places from the leisure industry to property letting; incorporating CMS.
