Darryl Perrilloux is the oldest of three children of Charmaine (retired High School Principal) and Darryl Perrilloux Sr. (retired Colonel US Army, and current aerospace engineer). Darryl was born in New Orleans, LA and is of Creole heritage. He grew up in Nassau Bay Texas and went to Clear Creek High School where he participated in the Symphonic Choral Group, and the sports: Basketball and Track and Field.
After graduating from University of Houston, Darryl pursued a career as a personal trainer, although he was interested in modeling and almost signed with an agency, he decided not to follow through so that he could focus on a career as a personal trainer. Darryl’s modeling was rekindled when through a mutual friend, he met Torrie Wilson (former WWE Diva) whom just opened a boutique store named Jaded, and she asked him to model clothes for her boutique, which he did for several runway shows.
Darryl never actually thought of acting until he met a local film maker, Roy Ford, that mistook him for an actor and wanted to cast him and a series of short films he was producing. It didn’t take much thought and Darryl jumped at the chance at trying his hand in acting. The first short film Darryl acting it, Chasing Cane: At What Cost, went on to win several film festival awards including Award of Merit - Fall 2010 Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood.

Darryl also took acting and modeling classes at the Mayo Hill School and consulted with other acting coaches to hone his acting and modeling skills. Also during this time, Darryl worked independently as a runway and commercial print model mostly in the Houston area. Soon he started working with Helen McCole Bartusiak (mother of well-known actress Skye Bartusiak) as her acting as his manager and acting coach. Helen ended up getting hired by Acclaim Talent Agency as Director of Operations and naturally, Darryl signed on as talent for the agency as well, where he is still signed with to this day.
Darryl still does a few runway shows from time to time but his main focus is acting and fitness modeling. He does commercial, industrial, and tv/film projects, where most of his roles are drama and action based. Read Less
