Patrizia has gathered a 23 years long experience as an illustrator, and began working with French and English publishing houses immediately after her illustration degree at Milan’s Istituto Europeo di Design.

From there her illustrations have been recognized international,in particular her animal and botanical artwork for children's books.

Her work is mostly made according to traditional techniques, watercolor and colored pencils.

Her favorite subject for illustration was the animal realm; she attempts to grasp the magic and expressiveness of animals without altering their natural features.

Thus she accomplished remarkable mastery in natural history and educational publishing, forming in time a unique and personal style, appealing to the taste of adults and children alike.

Patrizia's work was selected twice to be exhibited during the 2000 and 2007 "Illustrators Exhibition" held at the Bologna Children's Book Fair.

Her artistic and original work continues to draw attention internationally, in the children's books field, while beginning to get consideration for greeting cards, découpage and magazines. Read Less
