beekaystudio.com

beekaystudio.com

The client is a new Fashion Designer based in London - UK. He needed a new website that shows the feeling in his work.
My challenge was to design something along the clothes that the artist produces.

I was responsible for the management, creation and art direction of this project. My partner was responsible for programming in AS2.0.

---
Relentlessly experimenting with cut and textures, beekay's clothes create an intense, dark and energetic effect. From rough use of leather to latex-cindered denim he pushes his materials to produce a hard, aggressive impact with his first collection â€" Post-Apocalypse. Beneath their tough exteriors lie the exact opposite: designs that provide comfort and a high degree of flexibility in movement.

Born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, the pull of popular culture led BeeKay to push against it. He completed his degree at UCCA while spending three seasons working under Aminaka Wilmont. These experiences inspired him to develop a fierce curiosity into how far he could push with leather, jersey, latex paints, cuts and more.

Now based in London, beekay is showing his first collection at On|Off for London Fashion Week and Rendez-Vouz in Paris. He is only just beginning to experiment.
