Paul Currah is an award-winning multi-disciplinary graphic designer. After graduating from Norwich School of Art and Design in 2005, he went on to work at top design agencies in London. In 2008, whilst at The Partners, Paul became the youngest winner of a prestigious D&AD Black Pencil for his role as designer on The National Gallery’s Grand Tour campaign.

Paul went freelance in 2010 and now works from his studio by the sea in Poole, Dorset which he shares with his fiancé, the illustrator Hayley Potter and their studio assistant Mr Bumble the Bedlington Terrier. He works with a diverse mix of local and international clients and has been described as being one of the nicest chaps in the industry (Sean Rees, FormFiftyFive).

“Paul is affable, able to take on challenges and ambitious. And that's just the letter 'a'. During his time at the Partners he was a key member of the team delivering creativity on projects big and small, able to paint with broad brushstrokes and craft with detail. Beyond the quality of his ideas, he's a great fella to work with and would be a great asset to any team.”
Robert Ball, Creative Director / The Partners

“Paul is a bright, clever and talented designer who rightly prioritizes thinking before execution. He is capable of generating a wealth of original and engaging thinking but should not be employed on this strength alone. An efficient designer with great organizational abilities Paul also possesses a much needed eye for detail. Left to his own devices, Paul will consistently deliver briefs on time and (whenever possible) will take the opportunity to propose additional solutions beyond what was originally asked. He is a pleasure to be around and comes equipped with a dry sense of humour that was not wasted during his time at The Partners – where he regularly amused and entertained during his many presentations to staff at the end of a long, hard week.”
Leon Bahrani, Senior Designer / The Partners

“Paul Currah was briefed to do all the online creative for our national integrated advertising campaign. It was a vast set of standard and bespoke formats all of which had to be started from scratch. We had just been through a re-brand too and guidelines weren’t yet complete. Paul was tasked with finding a way to use the refreshed style online. Throughout, Paul worked above and beyond, to ensure work was delivered on time and on brief. He was quick to respond with a range of ideas and executed final designs with excellent attention to detail and crafting. Paul was a delight to work with and I’m really looking forward to working with him again.”
Rachael Wackett / Macmillan Cancer Support

“Paul Currah created a totally new identity for us which has transformed our image as an association. Additionally, we required our website to be redeveloped and overhauled. The service was excellent – a range of high quality and innovative ideas were produced and presented in a user-friendly format with comprehensive descriptions and explanations. Our target audience and user base is complex, but Paul quickly developed ideas which would help us better communicate our core business. All required amends were managed either on or ahead of time, making it easy for us to manage the process, and Paul was accessible for email or telephone discussion. Another important aspect for us was the standard of independent advice – a key element when dealing with other IT professionals. An excellent service.”
Sue Varvel / National Association for Hospice at Home

“The experience of designing a new portfolio website and shop in collaboration with Paul Currah was friendly, efficient, simple and stress free. This was because Paul is not only able to visualise what you need but he can build it as well. Paul is very instinctive, flexible and creative in the way that he designs solutions to problems. He considers the whole picture when working on your site – from who your audience is, how the site best shows off what you do, how you are going to maintain it and how it can accommodate any developments in your business. He exceeded my expectations for my site and was also able to advise me on increasing my popularity in search engines and promoting my work on-line using the new website. I would highly recommend Paul if you are looking for an approachable award winning creative professional who can deliver great work on time.”
