I was born in Southern Oregon where nature is everywhere. My mother was a military brat, so maybe that is where I get my need for perfection... It might also come from the dualistic hyper-stable, then hyper-unstable childhood I experienced. Or maybe it's because most of my time in the generic school system I aspired to be a scientist, even though it was always art the sung sweet love songs to my heart.
No matter the case, my heart broke when I gave up art, and then my mind went crazy. I went through a few years of the lost soul sort, until I discovered why my heart was so inconsolable. Then it was a battle between the logic of my mind and the love of my heart. Finally, compromise was accomplished on graphic design.
Now, I live in Portland where hipsters are everywhere. It rains more, the summers aren't as hot, and I'm always creating. This makes me more than happy. Read Less
