Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

In the '80s, Patricia studied engraving at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and architecture in a private school. Her first job was as a Set designer at the Rede Globo, a television network in Brazil, reproducing paintings and scenery panels giants. In the 90's she migrated to graphic arts, working as a designer of a women's magazine, editorial designer and illustrator of domestic and foreign securities and finally, director of art in advertising.

With her professional career going strong she has been feeding the desire to paint the multiethnic reality that she sees. Since 2004 she has been developing a series of portraits entitled "Natural Ethnography of the Ppeople of Rio de Janeiro."
