Orthochromatic is a one-man project founded by Nick Walters in 2011.

Based in London, I take great inspiration from the natural world and the designed environment and through my travels I aim to document these contrasting sources in high definition using the medium of photography. My specialisms include macro photography of plants and textured surfaces with a shallow depth of field, telephoto photography of creatures great and small and crisp, panoramic landscapes.

Orthochromatic's printed products use the finest quality inks, papers and other materials. Limited edition digital C-type (chromogenic) prints are lovingly produced by an experienced team at a professional print studio and are offered on the following silver halide papers up to a size of 18x12":
- Fujicolor Crystal Archive DPII Paper, with a beautiful lustre finish or a stunningly shiny gloss
- Kodak Professional Endura Premier Metallic Paper, for a reflective, iridescent, metallic finish
- Fujicolor Crystal Archive DP Pearl Paper, for a shiny, textural, pearlescent finish


Orthochromatic's images are also available on three less conventional print media, which can be custom-made to order:
- acrylic up to 60x40", for a durable print with a highly glossy finish
- brushed aluminium up to 60x40", for a metallic finish with a deep 3D effect
