Creative thinker, DJ, surfer, Thierry is a true citizen of the world who started his advertising career in 1995 in Singapore.
Thierry’s specialty is integrated through-the-line creative for the travel, airline, hotel, luxury, music, and fashion industries. He has built his career on his digital expertise, innovation drive and love for graphic design. Over the past decade, he has contributed to the development of such international brands as British Airways, Qantas, Mandarin Oriental, ZUJI, Anna Sui, Gucci, dunhill, B&Q, etc.
For the last six years, he has focused on Cathay Pacific Airways, first as Senior Creative Director, focusing on digital integration and delivery and now as Executive Creative Director of the Cathay Pacific Central Team with McCann Erickson, where he oversees creative origination and implementation of the brand’s campaigns in 26 countries – from digital, TVCs, print and outdoor, as well as below-the-line collaterals.
Thierry is the creative force behind the conception and realization of many global campaigns, and with his ability to put procedures in perspective, he is also responsible for coordinating operations. His sound knowledge of the digital landscape and his passion for technology have enabled the transformation of how ideas are implemented but also put digital at the core of his creative thinking. Despite his active professional life, Thierry still finds time to enjoy his family, DJ at top clubs around the world, travel around the world and surf.
He is actively involved and committed to the promotion of creativity and development of digital communication and supports the advertising industry as the newly appointed Chairman of the Creative Committee for the Hong Kong 4’s (Association of Accredited Advertising Agents of Hong Kong, where he also served as the Chairman of the Interactive and Direct Marketing Committee for 2 years prior. He is also a regular guest lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University for their digital course and often invited as a guest speaker by leading industry specialists, as well as called upon for jury duties at local, regional and international award shows (Spikes, AWARD, etc.). On his mantle are his own awards, including EFFIE, Webby, W3, Mobius, Times Asia-Pacific Awards, Kam Fan, AdStars, etc.
