My name is Robert W. Cook, I am an American born artist currently residing in Cork city, Ireland. I created the concept of "Norot" as a way to consolidate many esoteric, fantasy and mythic elements into a project with multiple mediums such as illustration, music and poetic narratives. This collection of illustrations represent many overlapping mythological, occult and spiritual themes invoking archetypes that have always spoken to me through my work in meaningful ways. Many of these visual concepts have been with me for many years but it was not until I relocated to Ireland in 2011 that these concepts and insights were finally evoked in their most natural and enduring form and is what I have thus put down upon paper.
