I am a Photographer based out of Bangalore, India.

I do not define myself by my achievements, my physical characteristics, or my heritage. I develop my identity through my unique photographic engagement with the world.
My camera reveals not just the subjects I see and affect as a photographer, but also how I am affected by them. Using the medium of photography, I am able to project my own identity and understanding through the medium of those with whom I interact--I put myself into realities that have been forgotten in rapid modernization.

As voyeuristic as it may be to invade spaces of death, disease, violence and unrest, I see meaning and value in the telling of these stories. I am passionate about India and about recording the dichotomies I find often go hand-in-hand in my country. As a photographer, I have the power to connect the minute details of disconnected worlds--urban and rural, glamorous and squalid, dangerous and idyllic, humorous and desperately sad.
