Not keen on pinning down my practice with any one label, I come from a Fine Art background but I also love digital painting and doll making – the former being inexplicably dismissed as an illustrative medium and the latter largely stuck in a craft ghetto. I describe myself as a Hyperconformist and cultivate a happy, postmodern equality of cultural sources in my work, while at the same time maintaining the awareness of context and ability to write impenetrable hyperbole like the Fine Art graduate I am.
