Purple Cane Proposal

PURPLE CANE
Rebranding proposals for
a tea house.
//Client: Purple Cane,
Malaysia/China., 2007-2008.
Purple Cane is a 20 something
year old tea company/house,
that seeks to tap into the
enormous market of China.
Their aim was to rebrand the
logo to make it appeal to the
youth of China, and along the
way compete with the likes of
Starbucks.
The use of Chinese typography
is something different in the
aspects of accesibility as well
as a more complex level of
readability.

Burt Sids

BURT SIDS
Noodle Box Packaging
16 oz Noodle Boxes //Client: Swinburne University
of Technology, Australia. 2008.
While the project was meant to test the knowledge
of printing productions, the design itself should be
appealing too.
Burt Sids is clearly a play on the product itself, bird
seeds. The logotype is made to resemble a bird’s
nest like texture. The hand-drawn illustrations are
also used to show it as a higher class, genuine brand
image.

Jay Jays Reimagining

JAY JAYS
Branding & Identity
//Client: Swinburne University of Technology,
Australia. 2007.
A dynamic rebranding of the clothing brand Jays
Jays, feeling it is fading and outdated, while trying
to keep it relatively similar to the previous image.
A perfect-binded book is also used to aesthetically
display all the identity changes.
