Welcome to my world! To the world populated by the belief in miracles, hope, joy and light dreams. A lot of things are possible in this world; perhaps everything is possible in it, as it is ruled by love, light-heartedness, childish naïve simplicity and pure heart. The world created by me is inhabited by small characters with big open hearts, innocent mind and very strong belief in the fact that everything is possible in the world. They believe that it is possible to get to the End of the Earth on foot, sit on it for a while with legs dangling, gather stars from heaven for a Christmas tree, grow flowers without fertilizers, but only with the force of love.
Our real world got stuck in shroud of problems, money, dust, disrespect and lies. In my works I try to show another, warm and cozy, world smelling of pies and cookies, where childish simplicity reigns and my characters is sure that the life turns sweeter and happier by chocolate and cream cakes, and not by money.
In the world represented in my works a large value is attributed to ridiculous small things we stopped noticing in our grey world. For how long haven’t you seen clouds in the form of hares and hens? Noticed that poppy seeds on pies resemble your birthmarks? These are exactly the small things that I try to find and show in my works, using regular ink pens and oil paints. I would be happy if my works made people smile, even not in outward appearance, maybe only somewhere at the bottom of their hearts. With my works I try to provoke people’s positive emotions, even very short-lived ones. I open the doors for them into my carefree world, where there is no place for malice, envy and bad mood, to the world, where everybody is a welcome guest. Read Less
