Her works follow the emotional and mental boundaries,paradox situations,our seeking,our drift of development,and this double way process of progressing but at the same time being decadent as well. The works are personal review of the present and of her sensitivity .What inspired Natali is everything unexplainable. Predictions and prejudices of our society are source for unstoppable stream of theories and thoughts.
She nimbly reveals the gawky, awkward nature of modern man.
Loosing and giving away traditions and moral values ,the shiny,
new technologies and bureaucracies continually promise to alleviate our existential discomfort. Natali is illustrating the urgent matters or today in a little sarcastic way, teasing the viewer simply visually.
Inspired by many contemporaries who have foreseen the growth of our
civilization,she tries to concentrate on “now ” with the idea of learning

CV Natali Sarkisyan

Natali Sarkisyan was born on September 21,1987 in Sofia(Bulgaria).
2001-2006:Studied at National High school for fine arts "Ilia Petrov" in Sofia,section Printmaking.
2006-2007:Studied at National Academy of Arts,Sofia.
2008-2011:Studed and graduated from Royal Academy of Fine Arts,Antwerpen section:Printmaking

Artistic Awards

2005-Won one-year scholarship provided by American Foundation for Bulgaria,Sofia.
2005-Won a prize for partisipation in a competition-exhibition dedicated to the 250th anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birht,
organized by the embassy of Austria,Sofia.
2006-Partisipation in National Competition for drawing.Won third place.
2006-Partisipation in collective exhibition in Shipka 6 Hall.Won an award for high artistic achievements given by the Ministry of Culture
of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria.
2007-Nominated for award in "The Soul of a Spring"-competition for young artists,
dedicated to George Papazov,Yambol(Bulgaria).
2009:Nominated for young printmaker award "Fonds Hilde Demedts" Gent
2010:Won a prize for young printmaker "Lessedra World Art Print Annual" Sofia
2011: Prize Ruperto Urzua for Free Graphics, Department Audiovisual and Fine Arts, Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp (KASKA) - “ARTESIS” Higher Institute Antwerp.
