hi osagie, sorry for the delay in replying to your post. to turn the skin tones like i did in the burn job, you need to work basically with a photo with a good color density (good overall information in the channels). you can turn the skin tones up using a base done with a layer of solid color with the tone you wish to achieve placed on top of the photo on "color" blending mode at about 40% opacity, curves and channel mixers. although it is always best to retouch in RGB and when finished turn the image into CMYK if the case, keep in mind that, in a darker skin tone you will have a bigger presence of CYAN (R + B) on its composition. Other than that, it is just a question of experimenting. Good Luck mate!
