Graduated in Communication Design at the prestigious Portuguese Design School — ESAD, Carla also took part in the Erasmus Student Exchange Program at École Supérieure d'Arts et Design in Amiens, (France). She had work with studios such as Subzero Design, where she accomplished several branding and editorial projects. She won Design and Photography awards and her work was selected and published in books such as "Around Europe Logos" (Indexbook) and "Around Europe Publisher". In 2006 she became part of Visual Communication Department of FABRICA — Benetton’s Communication Research Centre in Treviso (Italy), and she was invited to lecture on the undergraduate degree course at the School of Arts, in Porto. Carla is the Editor and Art Director of Yell-Oh! Fanzine — an editorial project made in collaboration with students. At the year of 2011 she published and presented a paper at the International Congress CSO’2011 - "Criadores sobre outras obras", as a speaker. She also participated at EXD’11 (Portuguese Design Biennial), at a collective exhibition (cãoceito) with an experimental project. She is now a lecturer at the module of Corporate Identity in the Branding course at Porto Business School in Porto. Back in 2012 she was invited as a speaker at World Graphics Day, at ESAD.
