I'm a UK based creative with experience in many parts of the industry. My main discipline is copywriting, though I combine this with my abilities as a designer in the product, graphic and web fields. Ultimately, I answer briefs by executing that big idea using whichever media suits the product/service and the market.
I graduated from Loughborough University in 2004 with a (BA) in Industrial Design. My major project - a range of Sports Injury Recovery & Rehabilitation Aids - was shortlisted for the Audi Innovation Award. After graduation I developed these with Remploy Heathcare. I also worked for EMI and BBC Audiobooks developing products I had created as part of my degree.
After a year out in 2006 - in which I spent four months at a cricket academy in Perth, Australia - my attention turned from design to advertising. In 2007 I won a place on the D&AD Advertising Workshops and in the following eighteen months I had placements at various agencies including M&C Saatchi, VCCP, Glue London.
Since 2009 I have worked as a freelance creative offering both design and advertising solutions to various clients. I am also the co-founder of 7Reasons.org. This is a humoour based website that offers the reader 7 Reasons for something, every day. In 2011 we also started writing 7 Reasons for Esquire Magazine.
I am currently seeking a full-time position as a creative. My ideal role would allow me to oversee that big idea from concept to execution using all of my attributes. However, I would be very willing to consider specific copywriting or design positions.
So, if you are looking for a creative who can demonstrate innovation across many disciplines, please get in touch and I will happily show you what I can do. Read Less
