Mon Zamora is a free-spirited photography aficionado whose original works emanate light and vibrant energy.

His photography has already been appreciated in his homeland, Spain where he has organized several expositions.

In 2011, Mon participated in the cultural program “Arts & Culture” of the Spanish Ministry of Arts in the collaboration with “Spain-USA Fundation” and the digital platform “Spain Red” (www.spainred.us).

Mon has spent the last five years of his life outside the homeland. He has travelled throughout Europe, the Americas, China and the north of Africa. During his journeys, he has been creating a large collection of unique photographies.

Mon is passionate about the concept of the city and urbanism. He likes to combine the geometry with colors and industrial patterns, as well as to follow the sequence that can be found in urban areas.

Mon claims to be in love with Berlin, where he lived and studied in 2010. He’s also spellbound by the diverse and pulsing New York City, where he lived in 2011.

“Sequence” – a project created in 2011 in the NYC, reflects perhaps best Mon’s fascination. The main subject of “Sequence” is the Williamsburg Bridge – a suspension bridge across the East River connecting the Lower East Side of Manhattan with the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Apart from the architectural and structural aspects of the asphalt jungle, Mon enjoys observing the city dwellers. without interruption and as they are in their natural habitat.

Mon holds a Master’s degree in Architecture, specializing in Urban Planning. Currently, he lives and works in Washington, D.C.
