I grew up in the forests of upstate New York, where I spent the first half of my childhood reading Tamora Pierce books and the second half playing with foam swords at a live action roleplaying camp. I study comics and illustrations at the School of Visual Arts, and am happiest making comics about no-nonsense women getting things done in fantastical settings.
