Born in Aomori and brought up in Chiba, Japan. In 2001, he officially got into the world of photography when he got his first SLR camera as his old instant film camera got broken.
He started his career as a sports photographer and also worked as a studio assistant and a trainee photographer to widen up his fields and the knowledge of lighting skills. After years of training, he made a contract with a Japanese publisher known as Bungeishunju as a professional photographer covering sports, portraits and still life. In 2011, he decided to move to the UK to turn freelance based in London.
Tomoki's current work concentrates on sports, especially European football such as UEFA Champions League, model shooting in a studio and street photography mainly for Japanese magazines and newspapers. Read Less
