My name is Mikel Pikabea, born in the late 70′s, raised in a city of northern Spain famous for its Film Festival and its “pintxos”. An early reader since childhood, observant and quiet. Perhaps it all began to take shape, while looking at Peter Parker working… (today I could discuss about some technical issues with him).
Would be cool to say that I started playing with cameras when I was 6 years old, but it wasn´t so. It was not until after I my season at the Faculty of Arts, that I felt the need to tell stories through pictures. A hard way, yes …, but so rewarding …
