‘Home’ Islington Mill, Salford

With funding from The Princes Trust I ran a six month project with a group of young homeless people in Manchester using art as a social agent for them to express and portray their thoughts and issues they were faced with surrounding the issues of homelessness. Part of the project saw articles being wrote in the M.E.N, Metro, Mirror & Daily Mail papers. The final exhibition and launch party sold out and the work is continuing to sell online and raise money for the young peoples hostel.

July 2011 Alexandra Park Project Manchester City Council

My project was chosen by Manchester City Council as part as their funding bid for Lottery Heritage Funding to regenerate Alexandra Park, Whalley Range. This saw me running art workshops with young people at The Power House Library, Moss Side. For the final part of the project i got the chance to work on my own piece where I created images to cover 25 windows of an old boarded up Victorian building in the park.

Sept 2010 See No Evil NoiseLab, Market Street, Manchester

With European Art Funding we ran a series of Art & Music workshops over the summer at NoiseLab, Manchester. To finish the project we produced a Magazine & CD of our work which was printed and distributed across the Northwest.

Dec 2010 Open Exhibition The Mansion, Manchester

I was one of the first Artists to display work at The Mansion where I displayed several pieces, all of which sold.

May 2007 Final Year Exhibition Taylor James, Shoreditch, London
End of degree exhibition showcasing the best of our work from BA Hons Photography. As well as showing my prints I had my own area screening the videos I had produced. The exhibition saw a constant stream of visitors and I also managed to sell all my work.

April 2006 Photocurrent E3 Gallery, Manhattan, New York
During a University trip to New York we hosted a two week exhibition where I got the chance to display one of my latest pieces of work to a wider audience. On top of this my image was chosen for the promotion of the exhibition which saw it produced into thousands of flyers, posters and CDs. Read Less
