I thrive on idea and design execution. Currently my creative work is centered around the bicycle business. It is passion driven however profit motivated. I am an advocate for the end user (the rider) and a discerning customer of my own design - Vision and ideas are what I embrace but it is execution that matters in the end. Today: Design Manager for the Trek Town/Kids bikes team, as well as for our Bontrager accessories brand. I have five awesome designers to work with and lead.

As of Dec 2011: Lead industrial designer for Trek Mounatin Bikes - its exciting constantly changing. I embrace the chaos that is the product develeopment process - I love the energy, the urgency, and the fact that no matter what happens you must move forward. As a designer at Trek I am afforded a lot of opportunity to experiment - and that I do.

I have been rocked by Kurt Cobain in my angsted youth, I've jumped out of a plane, I have ridden down the side of Whistler mountian, I've lost a father, I've finished an Ironman, I've seen Devo play twice, and Peter Gabriel once, I've married a wonderful woman, and now I am a father myself.
