As may become apparent at first glance, Maximumedia doesn't do things the same as other design firms. Perhaps that is why their brands are consistently in the news, on the television and on everyone's lips in town. These successes are due in a large part to the talent of Maximumedia's guru art director and brand designer, J. Noah Mattern. As such, at first glance, he may not look like your typical brand designer.
What Mattern does with design is part of a fresh approach to the way in which he understands the market. Without equal parts form and function, that balance of art and engineering; your brand does not work. He will tell you his talent is "problem solving." It has as much to do with style as it does with shovel work. In this respect, Mattern is a tireless worker. By consolidating efficient design solutions with hard-hitting looks, he has capitalized on award-winning and signature "Maximumedia Design."
Mattern was born in 1976 and grew up on a tree farm in Indiana where he worked with his father digging and pruning trees. He is an Eagle Scout decorated with 1 gold and 2 silver palms. He studied at Purdue University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Writing and an Associates Degree in Art & Design. He is a founder of the LayFlats Arts & Music Festival and donates service to numerous community organizations. He is also on the Tippecanoe Arts Federation Community Planning Implementation Committee and spends his free time writing music, making art, reading and studying culture. Read Less
