Matthew Lew

Graphic Designer / UI / UX

San Francisco, CA, USA
I'm a graphic designer interested in the visual landscape of systematic informational design. Wayfinding, tickets, websites, maps are all of keen interest—designing things that have not been touched or reconsidered.

Work Experience

Medium

Design Intern

As a publication design intern, I've created logos for Medium publications like The Cauldron, Inside Medium, and War Is Boring. I've also designed articles for The White House, Cuepoint, Re-Form, The Ferenstein Wire, 92Y Genius Week, and Esquire.

Eventbrite

Design Intern

After redesigning Ticketmaster tickets, Eventbrite recruited me to help redesign theirs too; I researched the current concerns and how Eventbrite as a brand could be visually established through their PDF ticket (which 4 million people download every month) and physical printed (thermal stock) tickets. I was responsible for starting and completing this ticket redesign project and creating visual mockups of an Eventbrite ticket that is clear, clean, and folds perfectly in your pocket.
