Matthew Triggs is a Partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department at the Boca Raton office of Proskauer. Proskauer has provided high quality legal services in a variety of fields for more than 135 years. In his role as the head of the Litigation Department in Florida, Matt Triggs primarily concentrates on probate and fiduciary litigation, representing corporate and individual fiduciaries in a broad range of probate and trust disputes.
After graduating from law school in 1990, Matt Triggs was admitted to the bar in Florida and Georgia, and has been admitted to a number of state courts, including the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Courts of Law and Equity in the State of Georgia, and the Supreme Court of Florida. Additionally, Triggs is admitted to practice before a number of federal courts, including the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the Northern District of Georgia.
A steadfast supporter of the Florida legal community at large, Triggs co-authored the “Rules Corner” section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s bulletin. He is an active member of The Florida Bar Association, holding a spot on the Probate Litigation Committee of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section. Triggs has also demonstrated an unwavering commitment to pro bono legal work throughout his career, serving on the Board of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County and the Proskauer Pro Bono Initiative Committee.
Matt Triggs holds a J.D. from the Emory University School of Law. During his time as a law student at Emory University, he earned membership in the Order of the Coif, a national legal honor society, and was a member of the Emory Law Journal during his second and third years.
