Portraiture and fashion have always been a major influence with my work as an artist and photographer. My earlier images of subcultural style and identity stemmed from a desire to capture the weird and wonderful characters I met. If I had to describe myself in one sentence, I would say that I am a photographer who specialises in avant-garde fashion and gender study portraiture. For me, fashion is about experimentation and making a statement. Combining this with photography and its history of recording people, cultures and antiquity it forms a creative medium suitable for both commercial and artistic purposes.

After completing a Certificate IV in Photoimaging at the Sydney Institute of Technology I graduated with distinction in a Bachelor of Arts (Photography) at RMIT University in Melbourne. I continue to challenge myself in photography to learn and grow every time I pick up a camera. Read Less
