Bio
Matt Day is an award-winning San Francisco-based industrial designer with clients ranging from homegrown startups to industry-changing Fortune 500 companies. Empowered by years of consulting within top tier firms, Matt has shown his ability to add great value to virtually any client’s needs whether they be miniscule, massive, or any size in between.
Matt’s career has taken him to a variety of rich design environments including the pop culture packed gaming hanger of Astro Studios, the strategic lead and high-design focused studio of fuseproject, and more recently abroad to the culturally rich and fast-paced settings of HaA Design in Seoul, Korea.
While working within these diverse environments, Matt has had the pleasure of collaborating with a variety of clients within various categories including Microsoft, iRiver, Ooma, Litl, Nike, Puma, Boxee, Altec Lansing, LG, Samsung, and Alessi.
The year 2011 marks the return to the Bay Area for Matt, as well as the launch of his new contract venture Podium Studios.Viewing design as a platform for communicating ideas, Podium offers a variety of high-quality design, managerial, and consultative services ranging from concept generation and design visualization to 3D modeling and creative management.
