About me

I grew up in a very creative environment since both my parents are in a creative line of work. As a kid I always wanted to be a professional comic artist. I adjusted this dream a bit when I did an animation course at the age 9. It did not come out at once but it lingered there until at age 19 I decided to go to Art school to study motion graphic design and animation. A whole new world opened and since then and I am still learning to this day. I also taught some of my knowledge at the school of arts in Rotterdam [NL] but I must admit that teaching is not one of my ambitions. After this I was employed by MTV networks Benelux at the graphics department and had a great and inspirational time. After 2 years I realized I was ready to start out on my own again and started my own company in Utrecht called Mayonnaise. With mayonnaise I worked in a studio with three other people and we decided to create a creative platform called www.konacoast.nl.

My passions

I really fell in love with 3d graphics and animation. I started to work in this medium in 1991 and after a few application and platform switches ended up on a mac with c4d. I use c4d for over 8 years now and I can read and write with this tool set, sky is the limit.
