Designer at Precept, a digital brand agency developing intelligent, dynamic and social brands for a changing world.
An industrious and eager young designer, over the last few years I've worked from Junior to Middleweight Designer within the Precept ranks. Joining as a recent graduate from Northumbria University, I first began as a design intern working on a voluntary basis as I gained experience in industry. Having sufficiently impressed Nick, Precept’s Creative Director, and developed good skills using the Adobe Creative Suite, I was offered a position as Junior Designer. In this role, I worked alongside Adam, Precept’s Senior Designer on design work for both print and digital projects.
Since progressing to my role as a Middleweight Designer, I have experience working with a variety of clients from SMEs and start-ups to large corporate clients.
Over the last few years I have discovered an aptitude for web design and now work as lead designer on a lot of digital projects for Precept's clients.
I have a hands-on approach and enjoy the constant challenge of trying to think outside of the box in order to produce innovative and unique work that captures the essence of a client's brand identity.
Being a level-headed and focussed individual, I thrive under pressure. I have excellent time management skills, which enables me to prioritise my workload efficiently, and can cope with multiple deadlines in order to deliver work in line with clients' time constraints.
I am very personable and enjoy working as part of a team. In my spare time, I play for a local hockey team. Playing a team sport, I thoroughly understand the value of good teamwork and enjoy using my enthusiasm and can-do attitude to help motivate other members of staff and keep morale up in the studio.
