Based in Buenos Aires, Mariano Sidoni (also known as "Marciano") tries to represent an ending for the digital visual era we've been living through this past 20 years. Tired of watching how commercial use of visual resources is conforming innocent and passive eyes, (Mariano works as a graphic designer) he puts in crisis his personal artworks, not trying to conform anyone, but applying metaphors about destruction or regeneration, sometimes in an explicit way. He constantly involves into several projects using a big diversity of experimental and mixed techniques mostly developed by his own, trying to find personal and unique results. In his last work called "Lo-tech" he experimented with forced glitches (fault in electronic devices, malfunctions), creating amazing visual landscapes and abstract suggestive pixel shapes.
