When I draw, (this is not the part where I will describe little magical pastel-coloured men bursting out of my pencil and starting to dance on my paper, leaving sparkly traces behind, (even though it might have happened)
I tend to end up making mixed media, which will suddenly turn into an illustration rather than drawing. I love experiencing with materials and techniques, going over boards and I love ignoring rules! (I might blame the little dancing men). When I take a pen and paper and all the other many tools or anything I can reach, I might start being rather selfish and doing the work only the way I want, even if sometimes the work ends up being ugly (for some opinions). I see beauty in ugliness and enjoy drawing them. Opposite to this I also admire dreamy fairy-taly stories and pictures covered in sugar and marshmallows (and of course cotton candy). Read Less
