Marc Bovino is a freelance artist, graphic designer and actor based in New York City. Mr. Bovino was born in 1981 and raised in Connecticut. Marc graduated summa cum laude with his BA in Spanish and Art History with a concentration in contemporary street art from the University of Connecticut in May 2003 and later went on to train as an Acting Apprentice at Actors Theatre of Louisville in 2004-2005. After moving to the city in 2006, Marc developed his signature tape murals in apartments around the city while acting downtown and regionally. Marc currently designs for the Peoples Improv Theater, Discovering Oz, SuperMango Media and is a member of the collective 800lb Artists. His play Samuel & Alasdair: A Personal History of the Robot War has appeared at The New Ohio Theatre, The Brick & Ars Nova and has received numerous New York Innovative Theatre Awards including Outstanding Ensemble, Outstanding Sound Design, and Outstanding Production of a Play and was a critics' pick in the New York Times.
