Born in 1977 in the North of England Luke is an award-winning British photographer specialising in Asia. After completing a degree in Photography in the UK he moved to Asia, first China and then to Bangkok, Thailand, where he has been based for over 6 years. He is continuously shooting travel, editorial and corporate style assignments for some of the most globally respected publications and NGO's all over the Asian continent.

As well as magazine Luke has published one book in Italy called Il Lato Invisible del Paradiso - Pellegrinaggi ai Confini del Tibet (The Invisible Side of Paradise - A Pilgrimage in to Tibet's Borderlands).

He is also working on his second book project. Over a 3 year period he will be photographing over 20 traditional salt making places around the world. Covering every continent, documenting some of the most important traditional salt making regions of the world, the landscape and the people who work in them before they disappear.

With his contact network and in-depth knowledge of the region he regularly covers China, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, India and Nepal. Read Less
