The present work involves the use of textile weaving techniques with optical fibers to create a series of chandelier designs. Each chandelier is constructed from an intricate volumetric array of optical fibres woven through concentric plastic rings or discs, lit and coloured by metal-halide and miniature LED light sources. Transparent sculptures by day, they transform into a dynamic and colourful light displays by night.
