I started to be interested in art at an early age. My aunt used to take me a lot of different museums across the country. I was exposed to a lot of different styles of art; form and space, watercolor, principles of sculpture etc. I arrived to the United States at the age of 15 and priorities changed I made new friends and art was put on the backburner. I played sports throughout high school and art was not in my sight. After I graduated high school I joined the armed forces for a tour of 4 years. I finished my tour on the summer of 2006 and I was ready to go back to school and pursue that fire inside of me "ART". I visited Parsons for an interview and after looking at how much it was going to cost me; I was not able to attend. I held a few different jobs in the mean time, until a friend of mine at a party told me to check out AiNYC's Graphic Design Program. I went and spoke to the representative, and everything came out the way I wanted. I will graduate in December. I will be doing what I love. I will be making ART. Read Less
