Born in California, Joaquin has lived in the United States, South America and Europe. He has broad experience with multi-national clients in a wide range of media. With over 15 years in the advertising industry, more than four were with Leo Burnett International. While there, Joaquin developed a strong foundation in integrated planning and communications. As a Senior Creative, working primarily with Consumer Packaged Goods, he serviced for Latin America some of the world’s most powerful brands such as Philip Morris, Kellogg, Heinz, Procter & Gamble, United Airlines, Xerox, Ferrari and BMW. Since then, he has worked in New York, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles both on staff and as a freelance Creative Director generating powerful TV, Radio, Print and digital media advertising for a diverse list of agencies such as Richards Group, Ackerman McQueen, Tribal DDB, Publicis, Ryan Partnership, Cultura, TBWA/Chiat/Day, Square One and clients which include: Nissan, Miller Lite, Six Flags, Budweiser, Mobil, Verizon, United Way, Blockbuster, Penzoil, Nationwide, Motorola, Southwest Airlines, Cadbury Schweppes and Pepsi. His experience has allowed him to also move behind the camera, generating a growing body of award winning directorial work.
