Self-employed Graphic Designer working closely with clients who require a variety of complex solutions. I collaborate closely with business partners including copywriters, developers, photo artists and graphic designers, as well as manage production schedules, ensuring quality and constant workflow.

Attended and completed the Art course at the Folkhighscool for Development of Consciousness in Roervig / Denmark. Shortly after I attended and completed the scriptwriting/film course in 2008 at the same college.

Lead designer / Independent business partner - The lead designer role included webdesign and desktop publishing jobs, as well as designing and developing a consequent graphic identity for the company and its products (various ERP and accounting softwares (Lotus)). I also supervised website development and liaised with company clients. As the independent business partner I provided the company with clients from my own clientele base, who required web development services.
Clients included: Juventus Radio, Avnet, Bols, Road Parcel, Globe System, Ifdt, etc.

EXPERIENCE

Apart from my role as a designer I often function as a consultant to a wide range of clients and am used to direct most of the production process of my websites. My role often icluded concept development, structuring content, writing sitemaps and more as well as managing the development and test phase. I worked in collaboration with business partners (copywriters, photo artists, etc.) but have also worked as leading (also personally assembled) teams.

As a freelancer I had the chance to design and execute work for a vast amount of smaller companies (native as offshore) as well as for several multi-national clients like Comedy Central, Aegon, Axa, Sony, and the European Youth Card Association, etc.
I love working as part of a team, as I enjoy inspiring influences and teamwork, but am also used to and experienced with working autonomously.

Freizeit und Studien
Um meine künstlerischen Fähigkeiten zu verbessern absolvierte ich 2007 einen 4 Monate langen Kunstkurs der “Folkhighscool for Development of Consciousness” in Roervig / Dänemark. 2008 absolvierte ich einen weiteren, 4 Monate langen, Film- und Schreibkurs der selben Schule, um meine Schreib Fähigkeiten zu fördern.

Lead Designer - Als Lead Designer gehörte Webdesign und Print Design zu meinen Aufgaben, wie auch das Designen und Ausbauen einer konsequenten Identität für die Firma und dessen Vielfalt von Produkten (ERP und Buchhaltung Software). Auch leitete ich die Web Development Projekte der Firma, unter anderen für Klienten aus meinem eigenen Kundenkreis die einen Development Service benötigten und führte des öfteren Besprechungen mit den Klienten der Firma.

ERFAHRUNG
Neben meiner Rolle als Grafikdesigner funktioniere ich oft als Fachberater für viele meiner Klienten und bin gewohnt den größten Teil der Produktion meiner Websites abzuwickeln. Meine Aufgaben beinhalteten oft die Erstellung des Grundkonzepts, Strukturierung und Gestaltung des Inhaltes, und letztlich auch die Abwicklung der Development- und Testphase. Ich arbeitete oft in Kollaboration mit anderen Fachleuten (Texter, Programmierer, Photographen, usw.) aber auch in der leitung von (u.A. persönlich erstellten) Teams.
Als Freiberufler hatte ich die Gelegenheit Projekte für eine große Anzahl kleinerer Firmen (heimisch wie auch aus Übersee), sowie multinationale Klienten (zB. Comedy Central, Aegon, Axa, Sony, European Youth Card Association) zu designen und abzuwickeln.
Ich bin immer gerne Teil eines inspirierenden Teams, bin aber auch gewohnt bei Bedarf eigenständig zu arbeiten.
