As of now of the age of 20(2012). Being born in Bogota, Colombia, the transition at the age of 8 to sunny Sarasota, Florida was an immense shock. When I first arrived I was an 8 year old illegal immigrant going to Pine View School ( a school for the gifted, which meant an incomparable amount of overly rich judgmental suburbia-white kids) who lived in a neighborhood engorged in red-neck Floridians. Needless to say, I was not the most popular kid in my youth. Which is fine by me, by my standards today, as in that time when I had nothing in the way of pleasant interaction with anyone outside my family I chose to spend my extra time painting and drawing. Always had a knack for the arts, but most of all I have just been oddly constant in my practice from as far back as I can remember. Since I have been doing art so avidly, for so long, though so many periods in my life; I've not only developed a style which (i dare say) is unique, but I have also done art through periods of riches and poverty, extreme ecstasy and depression, stagnation and creativity. This has lead me to have a wide view on what is "materials" and what is "canvas". As you'll see from my collections, my work has and will continue to range from painting with acrylic on canvas to decoupaging a purse. Hope you enjoy :) if its anything, its at least many well spent hours. Read Less
