Hello! My name is Laura Howell and I am a recent Art & Design graduate from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. I am currently working as a Design Intern at the in-house creative agency of E & J Gallo Winery in Modesto, California.

I approach my design work with a strong sense of dedication and passion. My design philosophy is constantly evolving, but I aspire to focus my concepts and push my ideas to find the best solution. I enhanced my education by participating in design outside of the classroom environment by working as an advertising designer at the award-winning college newspaper, Mustang Daily, participating in a small-studio atmosphere, and engaging with professionals through an internship. I have been an enthusiastic member of AIGA since 2009 and a strong leader as the Membership Officer of the Cal Poly chapter while attending Cal Poly. I am inspired by social relationships and value AIGA’s ability to foster interaction among the design community. I have learned a great deal from attending events such as CompostModern in San Francisco and as a volunteer at the Shift Y Conference in San Diego. I have inherited extraordinary knowledge and appreciation from these experiences and transferred this passion into the design work that I create. Read Less
