Art and horses have been life long passions of mine. When I chose fashion as a creative outlet, I had no idea that it would lead me back to horses, by designing clothing for riders. From there I started designing textiles, graphics, logos, catalogs, and other marketing materials for the equestrian industry..

I am a dressage rider with over twenty years experience. My horse, Royal Blue, and I compete at the Prix Saint George level. I also have experience in hunters, eventing, and western riding. Read Less

I received my bachelor's degree in fashion design and technology from Kwantlen University in 2008. I began working as a designer in my third year of university. At that job, I was responsible for the complete process from concept to sales. This has given me a clear understanding of the garment industry as a whole. Drawing has been an interest of mine from an early age. When I started college I studied visual arts for one year, before switching over to art history for the following two years. From there, I started a separate fashion design and technology degree. I learned to use Illustrator and Photoshop to create logos, catalogs, and other promotional materials. In the workplace I have applied these skills and also expanded on them. I have created graphics for screen printing, embroidery, and textile design. Read Less
