LANOLA KATHLEEN STONE is a New York City-based professional photographer, artist, author, and educator. Her commercial clients seek her out to photograph interiors, portraits, and lifestyle, although she is mostly know for her aptitude with children and childhood imagery.
In 2012, Focal Press published her first book, "Photographing Childhood: the Image & the Memory." With this, LaNola hopes to share inspiration and a bit of what she has learned from 20+ years of photographing and working with children.
LaNola received her master's degree in digital photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and has taught photography in both Salt Lake and New York Cities.
Additionally, LaNola is a 2nd Class Petty Officer / Public Affairs Specialist (photojournalist / media liaison) for the United States Coast Guard Reserve, aunt to 25 and godparent to five. Read Less
