Born in Silver Spring, Md., raised in Washington DC. Grew up in the DC punk scene of the 80's, became a sponsored skateboarder for Dogtown, Vans and Independent Trucks. Moved to San Francisco, became a darkroom tech at Thrasher Magazine, started Slap Magazine 2 years later ('92). Traveled the world, chased by the law, shot photos for the next 20 years. Lately I've been doing a lot of freelance, shooting stills for the feature length documentary "Casting By", music video stills for Rusty Knuckles Records, working on a personal project about MMA fighters at Black House Gym in Los Angeles and reveling in the fact that I still learn something new everyday. I'm also one of the producers of The Rumble In Barona & The Rumble In Raleigh- a grassroots skateboarding, car & bike, drag racing and music event held since 2008. Read Less
