Role includes assisting and creating marketing materials such as brochures, mailshots, fitting/assembly instructions, show stand graphics, customised artwork and much more.

During these past few months I have gained a lot of knowledge about how much goes into manufacturing and producing blinds as well as learning about the different ways to advertise across different platforms of social media and print. This role has also allowed me to develop the basic skills and knowledge on how to use and develop the website/extranet using WordPress.

- Producing packaging within existing design templates.
- Creating designs for products such as mugs / dinner sets / baby bibs & stationery items.
- Creating new packaging designs / concepts for our everyday products and retailer specials.
- Creating brochures

- Managing and working to tight deadlines and seeing projects through from initial concept to final artwork.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, responsible for producing and maintaining high quality catalogue pages used by our sales team across 20 brands

- Gained knowledge on printing of the catalogue pages on the in-house commercial printer, administration of the database included.

-Working with other company departments including the Marketing and Imports Departments to ensure accurate information and to chase up missing information

The role is a temporary position for 3 months

Creating artwork for the Mail Centre ranging from A4- A0 boards to working on layouts for the monthly newsletter. I’ve learnt how to be confidant within myself whilst doing presentation and how to communicate with people in and outside the office.

Recently I was involved in the redesign of Genyca Genetics - a Laboratory of Molecular Genetics, specializing in predictive medicine, diagnosis of rare diseases, genetics of obesity and celiac disease. I redesigned and developed the new logo for the company and implemented it across all branding stationary such as business cards, letterheads and stickers, also a separate logo for the student handbooks and booklets. Creating templates for the outdoor and indoor signs as well as adapting the changes to the flyers and banners.

Working with Genyca Genetics allowed me to move, live and work in Madrid for a month.
