The biggest reward in my professional career is listening to my client's needs and then create images that help them brand their business, sell their products, or communicate with their customers and employees. My number one goal is to advance the career of the person who hires me.
Since 1984 I have specialized in golf course landscape photography. Thus far over 1,700 courses have been photographed in nearly 50 countries around the globe racking up over 5,000,000 frequent flyer miles. I am proud to have worked with George Peper in producing the book "Grand Slam Golf" and with Brian McCallen on "Golf Resorts of the World" both for Harry Abrams. I am also proud to have been a member of the panel to select the top 100 golf courses in the world for Golf Magazine since 1990.
More recently, I was named the official photographer of The Oklahoma Centennial in 2005 and self-published a 288 page book about Oklahoma that has sold nearly 20,000 copies worldwide. A second self-published book about my hometown of Enid, Oklahoma was completed in September of 2010 to be used as an economic development tool for the city.
The majority of my time these days is working with my business partner, Randy Alvarado to build our company, Kalida Ventures. Kalida is an end to end branded artwork solution for interior designers and building owners. We consult, create, design, print, produce and install photographic artwork in large commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and institutional facilities worldwide.
I have also been busy with my son, Brett and dad, Bob remodeling an 8,000 square foot printing and framing facility that will soon be home to our new offices and gallery space in Enid, Oklahoma. In addition to all of these agendas, I still continue to travel shooting golf courses and nature scenes that can be used in our building installations. Life is good! Read Less
