I am an illustrator who loves fine detail and a nice factual base for my work to stand on. I love to visualise obscure facts, bits of text, words and most recently, covers for books. As my work is so grounded in the recognisable and realistic I create, what I hope is, intrigue in my work by placing in scenes together objects that don't always make a lot of sense - although I promise there's usually a good reason for it! I am a fan of the trusty pencil and pencil crayon, some of my hard-wearing Crayolas have been with me since I was 6 - although I like to think I'm do something a little fancier with them now!
