Kerry Eddy lives in Lincoln, Nebraska with billions of dust mites, microorganisms, insects, plants and small animals as well as another human being. She likes stuff and collects it. She also listens to stuff on electronic devices and records stuff onto electronic devices that she plays on stringed instruments with other people that play stringed and percussive instruments. Some people really dig it.
Now, on to the meat for the purposes of this self-promotion: she creates illustrations for clients using vector programs such as freehand and illustrator, and programs such as photoshop, as well as using traditional mediums like water color and pen and ink, acrylic, colored pencil, lino cut print, wood cut print, mixed media and oil paint. Kerry has worked as a graphic designer and freelance illustrator professionally for many years, and then other years, not so much. She spent 6 years as an upholsterer, dabbled in journalism as a music and arts writer for the Reader, waited tables for various establishments over the years, (Perhaps I spilled some soup in your lap?), and even acted in the community theater in several productions in Omaha, and Lincoln. Her true passion is in the arts; in particular illustration. She studied fine arts at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1996.
